**CASABLANCA** — Moroccan legaltech and regulatory compliance startup [Charikaty](https://www.linkedin.com/company/charikaty/?ref=africainvestorreview.com) has officially closed its pre-seed funding round at a valuation of €3 million (approximately MAD 32.6 million / $3.4 million).

The financing round attracted strategic regional backing, including Dubai-based [Red Tape Ventures](https://www.linkedin.com/company/redtapevc/?ref=africainvestorreview.com), [Faris Al-Obaid](https://www.linkedin.com/in/farisalobaid/?ref=africainvestorreview.com), and Saudi footballer [Faris Abdi](https://www.linkedin.com/in/faris-abdi-699191370/?ref=africainvestorreview.com), alongside a syndicate of private investors.

Founded by [Amr Mouaqit](https://www.linkedin.com/in/amr-yassine-mouaqit-321709195/?ref=africainvestorreview.com) and [Driss Sijelmassi](https://www.linkedin.com/in/driss-sijelmassi/?ref=africainvestorreview.com), [Charikaty](https://www.linkedin.com/company/charikaty/?ref=africainvestorreview.com) has built its initial market traction by modernizing corporate formation in Morocco. The platform automates end-to-end business administration, enabling founders to incorporate entities such as SARLs and SAS companies fully online with fixed pricing, electronic signatures, and expedited digital filing. 

With domestic momentum bolstered by Morocco’s ongoing digital public service initiatives under the *Maroc Digital 2030* strategy, [Charikaty](https://www.linkedin.com/company/charikaty/?ref=africainvestorreview.com) is setting its sights on international expansion.
